Hey there,
Been a couple of weeks since my last issue! 🤐
I spent time off prioritizing family, my health and reflecting.
I’ve also been thinking about how to make this newsletter better, more valuable, and more interesting.
So I made a slight change to the format.
Instead of one challenge per week, you’ll receive 3 unique challenges.
Pick one you like, take action, reflect.
As always, I value your feedback. Take a peek below.
Challenge #1
Be extra honest with someone
Be comfortable with providing honest opinions with others, even it may be uncomfortable.
But be comfortable enough with yourself to have the strength to say them anyways if you feel the person will benefit from hearing it.
You may even forge a deeper, more impactful relationship as a result.
Challenge #2
Ask for 10% off the next coffee or tea you buy
This challenge was inspired by Noah Kagan, Founder of Appsumo.
Oftentimes we don't ask for what we want. This can cause us to look back at the things we wish we had done.
Next time you visit a coffee shop or any store, ask for a discount.
The goal is to get comfortable asking for what you want.
Challenge #3
Compliment yourself for 7 days
Try complimenting yourself while looking in the mirror, write it in a journal, or jot it on a sticky note and slap it on your refrigerator.
Far too often, we forget to compliment ourselves and our victories, no matter how small.
Give it a try. Watch your mood and attitude improve.

🎤 Interview
What is one big challenge you have faced and overcome?
I recently became a father. Parenting (so far) has been incredibly challenging, and also very gratifying. I don't think this is a challenge that one can ever "overcome" per se. I suppose it's more fun to simply enjoy the experience!
Share a fun fact about yourself
I like doing handstands. At one point, I trained handbalancing every day.
What's one thing that excites you?
Seeing people grow and change, at any stage of their lives.
If you could go back 10 years ago, what advice would you have given yourself?
Keep following your interests, enthusiastically (whatever they are). Being genuinely passionate about stuff is great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
What one challenge would you like to offer our community?
Write a future version of you a "time capsule" message.
